I tried winging a recipe tonight.
Tried being the important word.
I mean, it wasn’t terrible…but it wasn’t great either. This is why I use recipes, people.
Meh. Tomorrow is another day.
Anyways, besides the not-so-great dinner tonight, the rest of today was okay. I’ve had a piercing headache for the past two days and all of my Grey’s Anatomy watching (on season 6!) has me convinced I have a tumor. Luckily, working out helped ease the ole ‘ache.
Lately, I’ve been keen on walking interval treadmill workouts. I haven’t been to Body Pump in two weeks (the horror!) or any organized group class for that matter. I think I’ve hit a slump in my workouts and am hoping to get back in the groove soon.
That doesn’t mean these walking treadmill workouts are easy. I’m usually sweating up a storm within the first 5 minutes (nice visual, eh?). I’ve used Courtney’s as a base but sometimes just go with what I’m feeling. Hey, as long as I’m gettin’ my sweat on!
Anyways, tonight’s post was supposed to be focused on the above recipe but as you can tell…you probably don’t want it. Off to watch Dexter and hang with my two boys!
Question: How do you cure a headache? Have you ever been in a workout slump?
