Week 4 Workout 1

Um, today’s run was hard. Well, I guess it’s technically not a “run” because I didn’t run the whole time…but it was rough.

For Week 4, the plan goes as follows: Run 3 min, walk 90 seconds, run 5 min, walk 2.5 min, run 3 min, walk 90 seconds, run 5 min.

Sounds easy, looks easy…but it wasn’t easy for me! Obviously I wasn’t expecting to love run from the beginning but I’m definitely in the “Why am I doing this I don’t like running” phase of the training plan. Next week I have to run for 20 min solid. Uh, what?! How do I go from running for only 5 minutes at a time to 20?! We shall see.

Dinner after was easy since we had Bible study tonight.

BLTs with side salads (and for some reason 2 lone cucumbers…). Yum! We always buy the lower sodium bacon since we could all use a little less sodium. Sometimes we buy turkey bacon as well, just depends on what we feel like.

Storm’s been a brewin’ here in Milwaukee. The thunder and lightening kind of reminds me of an Indiana summer thunderstorm. They just don’t make storms like that up here… :)

Quick post because I’m exhausted for an unknown reason. Night!

My mom always made BLT’s for us when we were younger. I could only have a slight schmear of miracle whip – I hate mayo!

I can only handle a little miracle whip as well…I don’t understand people that love mayo…
