1. Dates and peanut butter
I can’t remember how I found out about dates but man…I’d love to thank the person who did introduce me. Dates are nature’s candy don’t you know?
The date + peanut butter combo is to die for too. Dare I say, peanut butter goes better with dates than it does jelly?
2. Hard boiled egg and Triscuits
I’m kind of weird in the sense that I can’t chomp on a hard boiled egg by it’s self. It’s true, I just can’t. But a hard boiled egg with Triscuits? Heck yeah.
I have to measure out a serving of Triscuits though, or else I would eat the whole box! I’d love to create a homemade version of Triscuits at some point too.
3. Larabars

Mmm, Larabars. Great on-the-go snacks that come in numerous different flavors. All of the bars have a short ingredient list and are made from real, pure foods. Fast food at it’s finest!
4. Greek yogurt
I have plain greek yogurt almost every day. Sometimes I mix it with fruit, sometimes it subs for sour cream (yes, just try it), sometimes I mix it with ranch dry mix and dip veggies in it…the possibilities are endless! 6 oz of this yogurt has 18 grams of protein, which helps keep me fueled and focused.
5. Fresh fruit
When I don’t want to mix my fruit with greek yogurt, I have it plain, on it’s own on the side. I usually pick in season fruits (I’m all about citrus fruits right now!) and love to save them for the end of my lunch as a sweet treat.

I don’t know that I’ve ever tried dates, but if they are good with peanut butter, then count me in!
SO good, you should try them. They sell them at almost every grocery store.
Mmm, I love Larabars but I can rarely justify the price!
I know, I usually only buy them when they are on sale or at Costco.
I had no idea dried dates would be good with PB. It makes sense though – ants on a log! I love trail mix
I use these sometimes as pre-workout snacks, great for energy for a run too!
