Let’s take a break from the numerous honeymoon posts, shall we?
I feel like I haven’t talked to you all in forever about…well life! Let’s do this in list form, because I have random thoughts in my head that won’t make sense together.
Hokay!
1. We’ve been breaking in all of our new kitchen appliances we received as gifts.
Like our beloved Keurig. Side note: We actually didn’t receive this gift at first. However, we DID receive a package of K-cups. Yes, someone bought us K-cups, did not put their name on the gift, when we had no Keurig. Now either someone did this as a joke (which I kind of find hilarious) or someone did not pay attention to our registry at all. Anyways, I was trying to figure out who got us the K-cups when someone offered to buy us the Keurig. Very nice, huh?
And our panini maker to make this beauty above. Ryan and I both picked something off of the registry that wasn’t completely necessary but was our “we have to have this no matter what” item. The panini maker was mine and I am so glad. I love toasty sandwiches!
2. My little ’97 Corolla (I lovingly call her Lola the Corolla) hit 170,000 miles. It would be awesome if I could reach 200,000 but I also hope I have a new car by the time I would drive 30,000 more miles.
3. Obsessed. That is all.
4. We bought Murphy a new bed for him to lay on while we are on the couch. Don’t get me wrong, he still lays on the couch but now he also has a comfy place to lay on the floor. Talk about spoiled.
The kicker is, he refused to sleep actually on the bed, but just beside it until we put a blanket over it. #getoveryourselfMurph
5. Speaking of Murph, I decided that I was voting Murphy for President AND Vice President while watching the debates the last couple of weeks.
He would win on looks alone.
6. I’m slowly getting back into my workout routine. Of course, Body Pump was my first class back. Lovin’ the new release!
7. Alysha and Brenton are coming over tomorrow evening for an appetizer night. I am like thisfreakingexcited about it. We’re making lots of goodies that I’ll report back on!
8. Time for me to go…I’m the Cardinals good luck charm so I need to focus on the game!

I’m a terrible person, but my bridal shower is in 2 weeks and I stalk my registry. Multiple times a day. And I just saw that someone bought us a Keurig today. I’m so freaking excited. Now I’m going to pick out K-cups to add to the registry as well!
Though my current favorite appliance is the trusty crock pot. We use it weekly, even in the summer.

I don’t have a favorite kitchen appliance. Hopefully by the time Ben and I are married, I’ll be able to use more appliances than just a toaster.
Kudos to Lola for hitting 170k miles! My trusty Sunfire was over 300k by the time I got my car in March, I think. It’s worth mentioning that even though I never named my Sunfire (that I remember), I have dubbed my new car Elphie the Elantra. Totally named after Elphaba. Because I’m a dork.
Also qualifying me for dork status? I still miss my Sunfire.

Ok, apparently I was wrong. It wasn’t 300k. I need to check how much it was, haha. It seemed like a lot though!
I love my Keurig! I guess I’d have to say it’s my favorite appliance, since I use it every day!
I had my first car — a Jetta — for 4 years. I have a problem with not being able to stick to one car for that long, however I made a promise to myself that I’m keeping my current car until it’s paid off so I can know what not having a car payment feels like!
My car has only been paid off (thankfully) but it will be shocking when I do have to get a new car and add another payment!
My Camry is my third car. I had an Eclipse for 2 years, then a Ford Taurus Wagaon (GAG!) for a year and then no car for awhile. I think I’ve had “Lars” for 3 1/2 years. I’d love a Volvo for my next car.
In love with my 5-cup coffee pot that I’ve had since college; it’s been a very reliable morning companion.
As for my first car….I’m sure you remember the Tempo. It made it for about 2 years, but now I have a 1995 Nissan pick-up that is currently at 318,xxx miles…I’m hope to roll it to 320k by Christmas. I can’t believe you’ve still got Lola!!! Miss you, Lady.

Ah, the sweet sweet Tempo. What a beaut. Miss you too girl!
