I know everyone else on the planet is complaining about the weather…
It’s so hot! I know we don’t have the worst of it but holy cow humidity. I might as well not do my hair for the next 2 months because it will just end up looking like this in about two minutes after stepping outside:

Yikes. Hope Ryan is well aware of who he is marrying…

Since the temperatures are scorching, I kept my workout inside. My gym added another Body Combat class on Thursday at 5:30 which works out great with my schedule. Even though there were only 7 of us in the class I still felt the burn! Body Combat is a great class to go to if you are wanting to get out some aggression.

Dinner was put together in a jiffy!
This was a “lets use up the rest of our veggies in our fridge since we’re leaving for the weekend” pasta dish. All it consisted of was marinara sauce (goat cheese mixed in), chicken sausage, broccoli, onions and mushrooms. Tasty and I fortunately made enough to have leftovers for lunch!
If you haven’t mixed in goat cheese with marinara sauce yet, you really need to. You’re really missing out. And no one wants to be the one missing out on things now do they?

As I mentioned earlier, Ryan & I are heading out of town this weekend for a wedding, our first of the season! A friend I lived with during college (I lived in a sorority type house at Purdue) is getting married in Crawfordsville, Indiana which is just outside of Purdue. The reception is at Turkey Run State Park, which is only 20ish minutes from Ryan’s parents so we will be staying with them for the weekend. We wanted to stay closer to all of our friends that will be attending but the Inn at the park has been booked up at least a year in advance and the closest hotel is 35 minutes away. Since the rest of our friends live in Indianapolis and are only an hour from home they are all driving back so we decided to save money by staying at his parents.
We’ll be leaving tomorrow after work for the 5 hour trip. I have big plans of doing some IIN work and wedding to dos!
Catch ya on the flipside.
Question: How many wedding have you attended? Ryan and I have attended 15 (I think) so far. For only being together for 3 years that seems like a lot!

I haven’t done too too many weddings – I was in a ton as a bridesmaid, but only attended 3 or 4 since I’ve been a grownup. I was a bridesmaid for my best friend – I think that filled my wedding quota for a while!
I’ve never actually been in a wedding. Mine will be my first!
I love adding cheese to marinara sauce and letting it melt…YUM! I’ve probably only attended 10 weddings, the next one on the list is YOURS! Can’t wait, girl!
Ahhhh so insane!!
