I experienced my first Cardio Kickboxing class tonight after work.
That was by far, the most killer workout I have ever had EVER.
Ha, look at me. Looking happy. I did not look like that for long, that’s for sure.
It was hard, but …in a good way? If that’s even possible! It was only me and one other person attending the class which was nice since I got some one-on-one before the class started. The instructor said I did pretty good for my first class! Though, they probably say that to everyone. Whatevs, I’m takin’ it!
I have 9 more passes to use up before June 30. More butt kicking in my future! And yes, I will still be doing my 100 crunches!
I don’t know about you, but Ryan and I really struggle by the end of the week meal-wise. We get lazy and don’t feel like cooking anything and sometimes get takeout. I always hate doing that (unless we’re going out somewhere fun) because it’s wasted calories and money on a meal that is only mediocre.
To combat the laziness, I’ve been trying to plan a fun meal on Fridays that will get us excited to cook (instead of planning for an egg sandwich like I usually do…). Tonight’s fun meal?
BBQ Chicken Pizza!
We haven’t made homemade pizza in forever. What a crime! Homemade pizza is so much healthier than ordering take out and you can have whatever toppings on it you want! Our pizza included BBQ sauce (obviously), (store bought) pizza crust, grilled chicken, sauteed red onion and shredded mozzarella & cheddar cheese mix.
Helllooooo yum-ville! Why haven’t I made this in ages?! I could seriously eat homemade pizza every single day.
Gotta get my greens in on the side!
I digress. It’s Friday Night Lights time. Night!
