Brain Mush

My brain is mush. For the past few weeks, by the time I get to Thursday I’ve just about given up on getting anything done after work besides working out. We are definitely in crunch mode for the wedding and my brain (and body) can’t take much more. I don’t want this to come off as complaining because I know there are tons of people out there who have a lot more going on in life (hello, children) but this kind of stuff is all relative. It depends on what you can handle as an individual, everyone is different!

Anyways, I’m not reaching a breaking point or anything, I just know I have a lot more motivation at the beginning of the week and the weekends rather than Thursday and Friday.

Going with the lazy theme, I’ve been having sandwiches for dinner.

Last night was a turkey, hummus and cheese sandwich. (Eaten after going to apply for our marriage license! :) ) The craving for hummus hit me while waiting in line at the County Administration Center. I ran to the grocery store to pick up some hummus and pickles…random, but totally hit the spot.

Tonight was a grilled cheese with tomato soup since it’s rainy here. Seriously, who doesn’t love having grilled cheese and tomato soup when it’s gloomy?

I took a picture but it mysteriously deleted itself. I’m sure you can imagine what it looks like :)

Enjoyed alongside a glass of wine.

Time to relax with some quality television…toodles!

Question: What is your go-to meal when it’s dreary out?

I LOVE some chili when it’s dreary outside. If it is especially gloomy I will also add some garlic bread to it :)

Grilled Cheese and tomato soup does sound delish though! I miss it right now, but it’s just too hot in Texas to make it!

My go-to meal is pizza! Nothing like gooey, yummy cheese to make the gloomy weather seem insignificant :)

Chili. Nothing makes me happier. I do love grilled cheese and tomato soup. I may have to make that this weekend :)

A grilled cheese would have been perfect yesterday. I love comfort food when it’s crappy out – like a casserole, soup, chili etc.

BTW, I am giving your permission to go book a massage and de-stress. You need it! BTW, if you want to get pedis, you know where to find me :)

I feel like my brain is always mush! The joys of being a mom. Just take the weekend to relax :]

Our go to meal if it is gloomy and cold is soup! Mmm If it’s hot and yucky then sandwiches of any sort.
